4VCO was founded at a time when “captive” investment teams were starting out as standalone businesses, before the diversification of investment strategies.

Over the past 20 years we have shared in the development of a sector which has become the stand-out asset class, attracting increasing allocations from global investors. With that success comes the need to scale business operations, to embed good practice, and to make effective use of multi-source models so that the core investment business can focus on what it does best.

Our business has evolved. Starting as consultants assisting with technology procurement and implementation, we have been drawn closer to the underlying operations and the wider issues influencing successful change programmes.
